Our strawberries enjoy the greatest fame, but our soft fruit offerings have grown significantly over the years from our berry growers.
Superior product quality, exceptional taste and ultra-fresh. These are the parameters for Hoogstraten berries. Our range is very broad: from blueberries to raspberries, cherries, kiwi berries, blackberries, special strawberries and even prickly pears.
All of these are grown by our passionate growers according to Hoogstratens quality standards. All berries are marketed under the Hoogstraten berries brand and also comply with the legal requirements for primary vegetable production and some supra-statutory specifications (production, sustainability, social practices, etc.).
Did you know that it is important for a blueberry to still have a downy layer? We even consider it a quality characteristic, because as soon as the downy layer is gone from the blueberry, it means that the berry has undergone too many handling processes. Then the berry is no longer fresh and has lost much of its flavor.
These are our Hoogstraten blueberries, which next to our strawberries, form the largest group within the Hoogstraten soft fruit family. We guarantee absolute top quality of these berries, which have a mild sweet taste.
Hoogstraten raspberries are known for their deliciously sweet and juicy taste. A raspberry is a collective fruit of all small fruits and its shape depends on the variety. For example, you have elongated, conical and round raspberries, but at Coöperatie Hoogstraten we are firmly committed to the Kwanza variety. They are offered in topseal and cardboard flasks.
Our Hoogstraten kiwiberry is relatively new to the market, but it is rapidly gaining popularity. They are as delicious as a kiwi and as soft as a grape. Their shape, texture and skin make them the ideal sweet snack. Because the skin has no hairs, you can eat them without peeling them.
Hoogstraten blackberries are dark purple in color, almost black. They have a sweet taste and are very juicy. You can find them in the store in our well-known cardboard punnets or in a handy top-seal package.
Tip: in need of vitamin C? Then our kiwiberries are the perfect solution. With 70 mg per 100g of berries, you get 87.5% of the recommended daily allowance.
