After their studies, Erik and Nicole started working in the tree nursery. In 2000, they started propagating laurels themselves in their spare time. This "hobby" gradually became bigger and bigger. In 2004, they stopped working as employees and also started growing strawberries on the side. Within a few years, this became their main activity. In 2009, they moved from Zundert to Hoogstraten because of better expansion possibilities for the strawberries. Now they have a greenhouse (2 crops of strawberries per year) and they also grow strawberries in the open air. Laurel plants are also still being cultivated and grown there.
