Hello, I am Thomas Van Poucke, born in the year 2000 and have been growing strawberries since 2022 for Coöperatie Hoogstraten. I graduated from college in electromechanics and I always hesitated to take over my parents' strawberry business. While doing internships in other places for my studies, I came to the conclusion that I wanted to continue with strawberries. Since I started, the passion has grown even more so I wouldn't want to change. Picking, planting and maintaining the plants and infrastructure, I love doing it all! This means I sometimes work late into the evening but I gladly take it all in.
