Verpaalen Soft Fruit is a family business in Rijsbergen that has been growing strawberries for Hoogstraten since 2006. It is a large and modern greenhouse horticulture company that has grown considerably in recent years and continues to grow. The family business now consists of John, Willy, Stephan and Marjolein Verpaalen, 10 permanent employees and approximately 100 seasonal workers. A special feature of the company is that they grow the strawberry plants they produce themselves. In addition to strawberry production, they also grow raspberry and blackberry plants.
