Verpaalen Soft Fruit is a family business in Rijsbergen, which has been growing strawberries for Hoogstraten since 2006. It is a large and modern greenhouse farming company which has grown considerably in recent years and is still growing. The family business now consists of John, Willy, Stephan and Marjolein Verpaalen, 10 permanent employees and around 100 seasonal workers. A special feature of the company is that they grow the strawberry plants, from which they produce the fruit, themselves. Besides strawberry production, they not only grow strawberry plants, but also raspberry and blackberry plants. A very diverse company where only one thing comes first: quality!
