Dear Consumer, You have now purchased these delicious and above all healthy strawberries from Adrie and Marian Lauwrijssen. We were married in 1988 and have had a business together since 1993. We have 2 sons, Rick and Aron. Our oldest son Rick has an interest in our business and is actively involved. We now have greenhouse strawberries and protected rack crops. We start with Sonata strawberries in the greenhouse and then all year through December the variety, Elsanta. We grow protected rack crops for guaranteed quality and also for the good working conditions. We work exclusively with home-grown tray plants. The picked strawberries go into cold storage as soon as possible to guarantee quality. We have chosen Coöperatie Hoogstraten, because of their high quality standards and because a lot is still sold through the clock. We think the clock price is the best tool to match per day, supply and demand. We give tours on our farm by appointment and we show a photo presentation of what happens on our farm throughout the year. Since 2013, we started the Dieperij. A terrace where you can enjoy fresh strawberries every day (open from March to December). It is a self-service terrace through vending machines including coffee/tea, hot chocolate, ice cream, soft drinks, cookies and sweets.
