I'm François, and I was born in 1948. I've been growing strawberries for Hoogstraten since 1973. That's also the year I married my wife. Since then, she has been helping on the farm and also taking care of the household. Together, we have two children, Nico and Dennis. The latter studied horticulture, and a breath of fresh air is now blowing through the company because he brings new insights, and I have the experience to put them in the right context. That's how I ensure that the strawberries are always of excellent quality.
