Let's Thomasso Together!
At Coöperatie Hoogstraten we know that not all tomatoes are the same. We would like to introduce our "easygoing" tomato called Thomasso! This plum tomato of the San Marzano type comes from our grower group Tomeco and has some unique characteristics. With its bite-sized flesh, few seeds and little juice and a balanced umami flavor, it is the perfect tomato to incorporate into hot dishes such as soups and sauces. Its versatile nature will inspire you to bring out the Italian cook in yourself.
Have you been listening to our Thomasso playlist? ♫

And let's face it, a good soup or sauce has music in it! So tomato sauce is like jazz music; there may be some very strange birds playing along, but it always comes together in a cool harmony. Whether it's ingredients, chefs in the kitchen, or people at the table, Thomasso brings them together. Laughing, dancing, talking, tasting and enjoying, but always together! To bring out that atmosphere at any time, we have put together a fun Play list. Discover it via the button above! ♫

While the classic moments of use will always be popular for tomatoes, at Coöperatie Hoogstraten we want to show that there are endless variations. Whether it's breakfast with tomatoes, tomatoes as a snack at work or as part of an apero dip ... a tomato always tastes good. And for all these occasions, Thomasso is also your best taste friend.

Did you know that this tomato is put directly into the box in the greenhouse, and that by retaining its crown it can be harvested a little riper, making it not only perfectly flavorful, but also with optimal shelf life! So you can trust that our Thomasso brings people and food together.
