Welcome to the farm of Erik and Carla Jansen - Gooijers. We started growing strawberries, leeks and spinach in 1991. After about ten years we said goodbye to vegetable cultivation and specialized in strawberries. At that time we started growing strawberries on substrate under glass in addition to strawberries in full soil. A conscious choice to be able to harvest strawberries as long as possible in one year. We now supply strawberries to the auction from April to Christmas. My job consists mainly of monitoring and directing the cultivation while Carla deals with picking strawberries and supervising the staff. She makes sure the quality is in order.
