We would like to introduce you to Steven and his wife, Myriam. They have been growing pears and strawberries on their farm for over 20 years. The largest area is occupied by the pear orchard, and especially in the autumn, a lot of attention is paid to this crop. However, in the months of May, June, and July, strawberries are also picked to improve the distribution of labor. They consider the quality of the strawberries to be very important, which is why they are protected by plastic to reduce the influence of weather conditions (rain, wind) on the fruit. Quality is a very important item for Coöperatie Hoogstraten, which is why they sell their strawberries through our cooperative. Enjoy your meal!
