We would like to introduce you to Steven and his wife Myriam. They have been growing pears and strawberries on their farm for more than 20 years. The largest area is taken up by the pear orchard, and especially in the autumn, a lot of attention is paid to this crop. But in the months of May, June and July, strawberries are also picked, so that the distribution of work is a bit better. The quality of the strawberries is very important to them and that is why they protect them with plastic to reduce the influence of weather conditions (rain, wind) on the fruits. Quality is very important to Coöperatie Hoogstraten, which is why they sell their strawberries through our cooperative. Enjoy!
