Hello, my name is Tom Franken and I started a partnership with my parents and wife in 1982. In my youth this already brought me in contact with strawberries. After high school I studied in Den Bosch at the HAS, there the interest in strawberries and a business of my own grew. In 1992, together with my wife, I decided to garden independently. We started with products like raspberries, redcurrants, plums and strawberries. Now we focus entirely on strawberries. During harvest season, we pick in the morning and morning, then prepare the strawberries for auction. Then we start taking care of the crop. The quality requirements of Coöperatie Hoogstraten are high, and I fully support that.
