a container of blueberries

Then press this mixture through a sieve so that you get a nice smooth coulis.

Poaching rhubarb

Boil 20cl water and the granulated sugar until you get a syrup.
Poach the rhubarb pieces in this sugar syrup until completely soft.
Drain the syrup, but save a little to slather the compote a bit.

Finishing

Let the compote cool as quickly as possible and pour over into glasses.
Pour the strawberry coulis over the compote and top with some sliced strawberries and blueberries.
